Adult Lessons in Classic and Skate
Masters Ski
Wednesday nights
6pm
Join us Wednesday nights for a 10-15 km intermediate ski. You can chose to either skate or classic.
There will be opportunities for instructional tips on technique in the first 15 minutes if desired.
Beginners please see the Adult lessons page. Come learn the trails, and build some fitness and camaraderie. There’s an after ski meetup for refreshments in a local establishment.
Ladies Night
Have you ever wanted to ski under the stars? Not sure how to get started? Looking to make some new friends? Looking for exercise in the winter? Then ladies night is for you. Starting 15 Jan
Ski rentals and pass $25. Save $10. Enjoy a warm post ski beverage in our new lodge.
Skate Ski lessons
Mondays
January 13, 20, and 27 6:30pm
Payment will be received on the first class
$75 for a group of three classes-
$45 if you are already a member.

Meet in front of the new lodge. The lesson will be between 60-90 minutes. Please ensure you have skate skis (no grip wax, fish scales or skins) and poles that are long enough for skating (should be between your chin and nose). We have a full size range of rentals, first come first serve. Dress with warm layers that can be easily removed. We will be moving AND standing around . We will be staying on the lit ski trail but bring a head lamp. If snow or weather conditions are not suitable the lessons will be rescheduled to the following Monday. Other dates can be arranged if there is more interest.
Your instructor: Guy Ridler
Guy has been cross country skiing since he was a kid. He helps with younger racers and ski school. Guy has also competed in Nordic ski racing. He is a CANSI Level 1 XC Ski instructor. He teaches both Skate and Classic techniques. He is also a former telemark skier.
Classic Ski lessons
Saturdays
Jan 11, 18 and 25 10am – 11am
Payment will be received on the first class
$75 for each group of three classes- $45 if you are already a member
$15 extra for ski equipment rental
These lessons are in sets of three
Each week will progress of the skills learned from the last class so it is recommended to attend all three.
Class size will be small and all instructions will be outside. Dress in layers for change in weather
